How long is the license application process?

OFAC Attorney: There is no set timetable for issuing OFAC licenses. More complex or unconventional transactions can take more than six months to process. Simpler transactions and transactions subject to favorable licensing policies can be processed more quickly. Sometimes OFAC will provide expedited processing of a license application, but those instances are usually limited to situations arising from emergencies or natural disasters.
